Application for Visit to Civil Aviation Department (CAD) Aviation Education Path

Notes to Individual Applicants

  1. Aviation Education Path visit is free of charge and the date of visit is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
  2. Guided tours for individuals are available for booking for visits from Monday to Friday except public holidays.
  3. The maximum number of participants for each individual application is 10.
  4. The CAD reserves the rights to combine, reschedule or cancel the guided tours, and the participants will be informed in advance.
  5. Applicants will receive confirmation by e-mail.
  6. Anyone, while having dealings of any kind with CAD, should not offer advantage to the CAD officers, or else he may commit an offence under section 4(1) and/or section 8 of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Chapter 201 of Laws of Hong Kong), and be liable to a maximum penalty of a fine of $500,000 and imprisonment for 7 years.

Notes for Group Applicants

  1. Aviation Education Path visit is free of charge and the date of visit is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
  2. Target groups:
    Students from primary and secondary schools and post-secondary institutions
    Youth groups / uniform groups
    Charitable organisations
    Aviation industry partners
    Professional bodies
    Transport and logistic sectors
  3. Guided tours for groups are available for booking for visits from Monday to Friday except public holidays.
  4. Guided tours for groups are normally conducted with a minimum group size of 15 visitors and limited to 50 persons. The CAD reserves the rights to combine, reschedule or cancel the guided tour if the number of participants is less than 15, and the participants will be informed in advance.
  5. For school visits, the students should be accompanied by teachers during the visit.
  6. For uniform group visits, the group members should be accompanied by their guiders during the visit period.
  7. For youth group or charitable organisation visits, the visitors should be accompanied by responsible staff during the visit period.
  8. Applicants will receive confirmation by e-mail.
  9. CAD reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel any confirmed visits.
  10. Anyone, while having dealings of any kind with CAD, should not offer advantage to the CAD officers, or else he may commit an offence under section 4(1) and/or section 8 of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Chapter 201 of Laws of Hong Kong), and be liable to a maximum penalty of a fine of $500,000 and imprisonment for 7 years.
